Aika vierähtää nopeasti / Time flies

Aika on mennyt yllättävän nopealla tahdilla, viikon päästä on jo kuukausi eletty Pietarissa.

Vähän minua ihmetyttää tämä meidän aikataulu. Tällä hetkellä koulua on ainoastaan sellainen kymmenisen tuntia viikossa, eikä ole paljon mitään tekemistä. Kuuleman mukaan tahti kuitenkin kiristyy koko ajan ja ennen Joulua tullaan olemaan pulassa kun aika ei riitä. Olisipa kiva jos voisi etukäteen aloittaa jo jotain kursseja, ettei sitten olisi niin pulassa.

Tämän viikon aikatauluuni kuuluu Technology Management, venäjä ja Introduction to Accounting sekä Professional skills seminar. Ensi viikolla alkaa Managerial economics. Mielenkiintoisinta ja inspiroivinta on Technology Management, luennot on kaikkea muuta kuin tylsää kalvosulkeista.

Tällä hetkellä yritän kuitenkin ottaa kaiken irti löysästä aikataulusta, olen ehtinyt tutustua Nevski Prospektin kauppavalikoimaan (siellä on todella hyvä kirjakauppa metroaseman kulmilla, suosittelen!), Sennayan ostoskeskuksiin ja eilen kävimme ihanassa pienessä tee-kuppilassa (kuvat on sieltä). Parasta aikaa on kuitenkin uusiin ihmisiin tutustuminen :)

The time flies...

I have been here now for three weeks already,even it doesn´t feel like that at all.. Wow..

I´ve been wondering about the loose schedule at the school. Now I have only about 10 hours of lectures in a week, and not that much homework or reading to do. I heard that before Christmas it´s going to be veeery busy, and there will be no freetime. I just wish I could do something in advance so that it wouldn´t be that busy in the end of the year.

At the moment I´m attending the following courses: Technology Management, Russian and Introduction to Acccounting. This week we started also Professional skills seminar and next week there will be also Managerial economics (but the accounting is over by then...). I have enjoyed the lectures in Technology Management, it is quite inspiring.

I am truly enjoying the freetime (of course) and have been exploring St.Petersburg. For example the Nevskiy Prospekt with it´s shops (there´s a really facinating bookstore near the metro station, good art books!), the Sennaya shopping centers and yesterday we had tea in the most cutest place (the pictures are from there). Afterall, the best way of using the spare freetime is to get to know new people, it has been so far the most interesting experience. :)
